The career of new SPS Trustee, Laurie Young, has been devoted to strategy having worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and British Telecom (BT), and with Deloitte, Microsoft, the BBC, Hitachi, Philips, Motorola, NatWest, American Express and Fujitsu, among others.
Young says that he wants to ensure strategy is taken seriously. “There is a resurgence of interest in strategy development which we haven’t seen since the 1980s.”
