Charles Baden-Fuller, Centenary Professor of Strategy at Cass Business School, has extended an invitation to fellow SPS members to a free event on Wednesday 3 October where Cass will showcase its Strategy faculty and their work.
Cass Business School was voted 2nd in the world for its teaching of corporate strategy, according to Adam Palin of the Financial Times. This accolade follows a Financial Times survey of more than 9,000 MBAs globally: who voted on how Cass performed in comparison to other business schools. This is the second time that Cass has won such an honour. To mark the occasion Cass invites its alumni, friends, and other interested parties to a celebratory day.
During the afternoon, from 2.30-6pm, there will be three parallel sessions. If you are interested in attending any of these please book using the relevant link below:
- Managing Innovation – new angles and new ideas (led by Professor Joe Lampel, supported by other Cass faculty)
- Corporate governance – new thoughts and insights (led by Professor Igor Filatotchev, supported by other Cass faculty)
- Business models – why they matter and how innovation takes place (led by Professor Charles Baden-Fuller, supported by other Cass faculty)
In the evening (6-8pm), Cass will host a debate: ‘The current economic crisis: a failure of strategy or an opportunity to rethink the paradigm?’
The speakers will include Professors Charles Baden-Fuller, Joe Lampel and Robert Grant. John Bateson, former CEO SHL and Honorary Visiting Professor Cass will be in the chair.
